Wat Phra That Chom Nang located in Chom Phra Subdistrict, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan province is a relics pagoda which is presumed to have been built by Phra Nang Kham Daeng, Lao wife of the governor of Pua, who has strong faith in Buddhism. She and her troops therefore, travel up on Doi Ruea in order to build the relics pagoda offering to the Buddha and built a wooden cathedral on the east side of the relics pagoda. This temple is called Wat Phra That Chom Nang since this temple was built by Phra Nang Kham Daeng or Chao Mae Chom Nang.
